I’m Allison, and I created this space for all of us with a bit (or a lot) of curl in our hair.

If you’re wondering why, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane. Up until I was 30, I wrestled with my curly hair, wishing it would just…behave. Straighteners were my best friend, and let’s not even talk about the damage I did trying to make it “look right”. But here’s the thing: I wasn’t alone. So many of us felt that our natural hair was just too hard to manage or wasn’t “pretty” enough.

One day, I’d had enough of the straighteners and the doubts. I decided to embrace my curls. It wasn’t always a smooth ride. I had to sift through countless products and advice, figure out what worked and what didn’t, and most importantly, learn to love my hair just the way it was.
